Annals of Technology

A reliable source reports that the Duchy has a new weapon in their arsenal for the continuing battle against knowledge in all forms. The new weapon is the Blunt Intrument of Intercultural Proficiency. The Instrument is currently in the final stages of testing with administrators. Administrators will be bludgeoned in a series of classes at an undisclosed location. If, at the end of the testing period, the administrators are still able to disagree with pronouncements from PD and HR, testing will be extended and the bludgeoning repeated. If the tests are successful, the Instrument will then be used on teachers and staff.

We were discussing this Cultural Proficiency idea in Dotland yesterday. I wasn't sure what it was, all wrapped up in jargonese like it is. Silver offered that she thought it meant we shouldn't call each other names based on our cultural heritage. Aren't we supposed to not call people names based on any heritage? Didn't that used to be called Common Courtesy? Why does it need a new name? Can't we all just get along?
